All full-time students enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours are automatically enrolled in the school-sponsored Student 健康保险 Plan.

The annual premium will be included on the student’s tuition bill. 如果学生有 comparable coverage, and does not wish to participate in the school-sponsored plan, the student must provide proof of alternate coverage by the following deadlines:

“CareConnect is a 24/7 telephone hotline and app for CHP insured students in need of behavioral health assistance and provides access to Behavioral Health providers 在几分钟内. This assistance is provided through their partner Curalinc.

 

Students will call the 888 hotline number printed on their CHP ID card or click a button on the CHP Mobile Application and automatically be connected to a licensed masters level clinician any time of the day or night.”

To assist you in making an informed decision regarding your health insurance needs, below are a couple of questions to ask your current health plan representative to ensure that it provides adequate coverage while 你上的是九州娱乐官网:

• Does the plan provide coverage while in the Chestertown, MD area? 许多HMO计划提供 coverage only for emergency or limited treatment outside of the HMO area.
• Does the plan provide coverage anyw在这里 in the world, including emergency medical evacuation and repatriation 好处? Many employer-sponsored plans provide coverage only in the United States, and most do not include any evacuation or repatriation 好处.

If you have alternate, comparable coverage you may waive coverage under the Student 健康保险 Plan and the fee for premium online. 遵循以下waiver程序:

Failure to complete the online waiver form by the fall semester deadline of August 1, 2022 will result in your automatic purchase of the school-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan for the 2022-2023 academic year.
